The Life of ROBERT H MORRIS
Bob Morris, 84, of Des Moines, died Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services are at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with visitation Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Bob was born November 28, 1921 in Milan, Missouri. He married Marcella Page on May 3, 1942. Bob was retired from John Deere, where he had worked for 37 years. He enjoyed camping, square dancing, watching baseball and basketball, and spending time with his friends and family. Bob is survived by his wife, Marcella; his sons, Roger (Bev) Morris of Johnston, and Michael (Deb) Morris of Des Moines; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
