The Life of RICHARD DEAN STOUT
Richard Dean Stout, 29, of Houston, TX, died of cancer April 21 at Veteran''s Medical Center there. The body was cremated and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Stout was born in Des Moines and lived in the area until moving to Houston nine months ago. He was a student at the School of Automotive Machinists and had serviced in the Marine Corps during Operation Desert Strom.
He is survived by a son, Jacob of Ankeny; his parents, Ralph and Elizabeth Stout, a brother, Douglas, and his grandparents, Ruth Stout and Lawrence Fisher and Patricia Fisher, all of Des Moines; and his great-grandmother, Helen Walker of Mediapolis.
Linda Haines of Houston was his fiancee.
