Services for Thyra Yarn, 91, of 695 NE Sixty-sixth Ave. who died of a heart ailment Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mrs. Yarn and her late husband, Clarence, donated the land for Camp Sunnyside. She was a member of Union Park United Methodist Church and the Women''s Farm Bureu, and was past president of the Polk County Federation of Women''s Clubs.
Survivors include a duaghter, Gertrude Hall of Des Moines, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 until 9 p.m. today. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Camp Sunnyside or Union Park United Methodist Church.
