The Life of DARYL RICHARD FETTERS
Daryl Richard Fetters, 72, of 4335 NE 32nd St. died of a heart attack Wednesday at Mill Pond Retirement Community in Ankeny, where he had been a resident for two weeks. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Fetters, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was a retired laborer with Neumann Brothers Construction. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Laborers International Union and Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; two daughters, Lynette Golay of Des Moines and Lucinda Gloshen of Corpus Christi, TX; a brother, Charles of Oregon; a half-brother, Don of Urbandale; a stepbrother, Glen Hill of Lorimor; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
