The Life of HAZEL F FREDERICK

Services for Hazel F. Frederick, 90, of 4101 Douglas Ave., who died of a stroke Thursday at Altoona Manor, will ve at 10 a.m. Monday at Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Frederick, born in Redfield, S.D., lived in Des Moines for 59 year. She was a sales clerk at Younkers for 17 years, retiring about 30 years ago. She was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of the Auburn Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Matheny of Des Moines; two sister, Jeanette Stump of Des Moines and Amy Chestnutwood of Scottsdale, Ariz; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
