The Life of EDNA BELLE TURNIPSEED
Edna Belle Turnipseed, 85, of 5155 Torgerson Drive died of a stroke Wednesday at Polk City Manor. Services will be graveside at 1 p.m. Monday in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Turnipseed, a homemaker, was born in Ogden and lived in Des Moines most of her life.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Smith of Des Moines; three sisters, Betty Buchmiller of Ogden and Helen Howell and Jeanne Kurth, both of Des Moines; two brothers, William Bollenbaugh of Des Moines and Jack Bollenbaugh of Grand Junction, Colo.; a grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Her longtime companion was Loy Harreld of Des Moines.
Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
