The Life of RICHARD W BAKER

Richard W. Baker, 66, of 130 Linden Blvd. Pleasant Hill, died of complication of diabetes Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in des Moines. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Baker was born in Sheyboygan, WI, and had lived in the Des Moines area for more than 40 years. He was a retired plasterer and a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Miriam; three daughters, Victorial Johnson and Cynthia Wedum, both of Des Moines, and Melody Headlee of Mason City; sons, Richard and David both of Des Moines; three grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd and Russell, both of California, and Allen of Davenport; six half-brothers, Tony and Bill, both of Davenport, Grant of California, Daiv Banholzer and Dennis Banholzer, both of Milwaukee, and Phillip Banholzer of Dubuque. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dialysis Unit of Mercy Hospital Medical Center.
