The Life of WILLIAM GAYLAND BARKER

Services for Spec. 4, Gayle Barker, 22 of 3310 Cornell St. who died from wounds received July 26 in Vietnam last Sunday where he was serving with the Army, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens. Spec. 4 Barker, who entered the Army last September, was a 1966 graduate of North High School and worked as an assistant pressman at Meredith Publishing Co. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Barker, sister, Gloria, and brothers, Garth and David, all of Des Moines; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Dora May of Princeton, Mo.
