The Life of EDWARD CLARENCE MOWREY

Services for Edward C. Mowrey, 29, of 1718 Second Ave., will be at Hamilton''s Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Monday with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.

Mr. Mowrey died Friday at Veterans Hospital of emphysema after a 10-year illness.

Born at Coon Rapids, he had lived in Des Moinrs for 50 years and was plant manager of Insul-Wool Co. until he retired in 1963.

Survivors include two daughters, Edna Mowrey and Mrs. Dorothy Butters, both of Des Moines; a son, Albert, of Davenport; three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Schaffer and Mrs. Verda Bancroft, both of Coon Rapids, and Mrs. Erma Mattews of Lake City; two brothers, Williard of Sac City and Eldon of Atkins, MN; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
