The Life of MADELINE A LUCAS

Services for Madeline A. Lucas, 75, of 415 Virginia Ave., who died of complications from diabetes Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mrs. Lucas was a retired employee of the bindery department of Commercial Printing, Inc.  She was a member of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church and Alpha Rebekah Lodge.

She is survived by her husband, Ray G.; a daughter, Donna Gordon of Milo; a son, Robert Hammond of Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Kathy Lennon of Sioux City; two stepsons, the Rev. Robert E. Lucas of Edina, MN and Dr. Richard Lucas of Newton; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. today until noon Monday at the funeral home.
