The Life of BEVERLY J JEFFRIES
Beverly J. Jeffries, 61, of 3238 Indianapolis Ave. died of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Highland Park Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Jeffries, a lifelong Des Moines resident, retired as a cashier at Dahl''s Food Stores.
Survivors include her husband, Harry; three daughters, Jody Gibson and Julie Underwood, both of Des Moines and Jeri Jeffries of Carlisle; a son, Harry Jr. of Des Moines; a brother, Don Mitchell of Spirit Lake; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa, the American Cancer Society or her church.
