The Life of JOAN M MILLER
Joan M. Miller, 63, of the 1000 block of Bradford Place, West Des Moines, died of cancer Monday at Hospice Kavanagh House. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Westover Funeral Home.
Mrs. Miller was born in Buffalo Center and had lived in the Des Moines area 25 years. She was a retired secretary with Iowa Power and Light Co. and loved going to her fitness club and traveling to Branson, MO and Arizona.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; a daughter, Sally Link of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cener Society or Hospice Kavanagh House.
