The Life of DORICE HUNT LARSEN
Dorice "Pat" Larsen passed away on February 10, 2005 at CLC Polk City Manor. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 14 at Lutheran Church of Good Shepard.
Pat was born August 5, 1924 in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Lincoln High School and was a music major at Drake University. Pat was an avid music lover. She retired from the Waldinger Corp. as an executive assistant.
Pat is survived by La Verne, her husbnad of 56 years; three children, Londa (Michael) Fuller of Des Moines, LaVal "Val" (Paula) of Polk City, and Leland "Lee" (Kathy) of Des Moines; six grandchildren, Drake, Krista, Courtney, Teal, Tyler and Woodie; a brother, Vernon Robbins; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jesse Hunt; seven brothers and sisters; and an infant daughter.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at McLaren''s Chapel on Ashworth Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
