The Life of MICHAEL F DIXSON
Mike Dixson, 56, formerly of Des Moines, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Venice Hospice House in Venice, FL. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Hamilton''s Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mike was born September 18, 1949 to Frederick and Beverly J. Dixson in Des Moines. He ws an electrician with RR Donnelly for 38 years before his retirement in 2004. Mike was a member of IBEW. He enjoyed bowling and golf.
Mike is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Timothy J. Dixson and Robert M. Dixson; father, Fred S. Dixson; brothers, David W. Dixson, Steve L. Dixson and Duke Dixson; sister, Kelly Praeuner; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Parmenter Dixson.
