The Life of STACY LYNN COX
Stacy Lynn Cox, 28, died Sunday, June 8, 2003 at home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 13 at Grandview Park Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, both in Des Moines.
Stacy was born August 20, 1974, in Des Moines where she lived all of her life. She was a graduate of SE Polk High School, attended Mercy Medical College and provided home health care.
She is survived by her daughter, Katelynn Cox of Des Moines; her mother, Sandy Allison of Pleasant Hill; her father, Larry Cox and his wife Diane of Okoboji; her brother, Kelly Cox and his wife Stephanie of Des Moines; Katelynn''s father, Tony Davis of Des Moines and his parents, Edman and Rose Davis of Terril; her grandmother, Kathleen Laxton of Des Moines; and her grandparents, Norman and Marlene Cox of Panora. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Donald Allison and her grandfather, Thurman Laxton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 3211 Hubbell Avenue.
