The Life of MICHAEL T RHOADES
Mike T Rhoades, 13-year-old son of Tom and Lynn Rhoades of Chariton, died Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, both in Des Moines. The cause of death is unknown, pending autopsy results.
Mike was born in Des Moines, where he lived until moving to Corydon in 1982 and then Chariton in 1986. He was an eighth-grade student at Chariton High School and a member of Chariton First Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include a brother, Mat of Chariton; two sisters, Vienna Nunnikhoven of Pella and Luki Christensen of Chariton; and his grandparents, Floyd and Dortha Rhoades of Des Moines and Jean and Melvina Davenport of Corydon.
