The Life of VELMA LOUISE BARTON
Velma Louise Barton, 68, of 8348 NE 46th Ave., Altoona, died of lung cancer Saturday at Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Barton was born in Des Moines and lived in Altoona all her life. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Pat Dickey of Altoona; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House.
