The Life of LUCILE E RANKIN LAND

Graveside services for Lucile E. Land, 75, of Anderson, MO, formerly of Des Moines, IA, who died of complications from arthritis Thursday at Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville, Ark., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Land was born in Wabasso, MN and lived in Des Moines until 1971, when she moved to Missouri.  She was a retired homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; two sons, Bud Rankin of Cumming, IA, and Jim Rankin of Windsor Heights, IA; four daughters, Elenore Lau of Adel, IA, Pat Lunn of Anaheim, CA, and Anita Pack and Helen Letze, both of Des Moines; a stepson, Charles Land of Anderson; two stepdaughters, Mary Lou Illingsworth of Russell, IA, and June Kasper of Melrose, IA; two brothers, Gerald Nelson of Sun City, CA, and Nels Nolson, Jr. of Des Moines; three sisters, Irma Frederickson of Wallingford, IA, Daisy Gage of Opelausas, LA, Marion Lovald of Wichita, KS; 17 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hamilton's Funeral Home from noon until shortly before the time of the service.
