The Life of MARGARET JEANNE MOON
Services for Mrs. Jeanne Moon, 49, of Ankeny, who died Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ankeny Methodist Chruch. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Moon was born in Rockwell City and had lived for 20 years in Ankeny, where she was a clerk at the public library. She had attended Iowa State University at Ames. She belonged to the Garden Club of Ankeny, the Republican Women''s Club, was a 4-H leader and was active in Sunday School work.
She is survived by her husband, Lael; a daughter, Barbara of Skokie, IL; a son, Jim, of Eldorado Ark; her mother Mrs Grace Acklin; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Erskine, both of Ames; and two brothers, Ralph Acklin of Lancaster, PA., and John Acklin of Wichita, KS.
Memorials may be made to the Ankeny Methodist Church.
