The Life of DONALD L SHRADER
Donald L. Shrader, 89, of the 1500 block of Milton Ave. died of pneumonia Saturday at Union Park Health Services. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Union Park Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Shrader had lived in Des Moines all his life. He was retired from the printing department of Meredith Publishing Co. and enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; two sons, Russell of Des Moines and Kenneth of Evergreen, CO; a daughter, Darlene Shrader of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Grandview Park Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
