The Life of RAYMOND JOSEPH POWER
Services for Raymond Joseph Power, 86, of 2207 E. Fourteenth St., who died Sunday at the North Des Moines Nursing Center, 701 Riverview Ave., of uremic poisoning, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Visitation Catholic Church with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Power was born at Mankato, Minn., and lived in Des Moines 54 years. He was a retired master plumber and was a member of Visitation Holy Name Society and of the Des Moines Association of Plumbing Contractors.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the Beaverdale Funeral Chapel.
Survivors included his wife Flossie; two sons, Bert of Des Moines and William of Arcadia, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Hoath of Corpus Christi, Tex.; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
