The Life of KATIE LULU COX
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Saylorville Baptist Church for Katie L Cox, 96, of 420 NW Fifty-second Ave. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox died of a liver ailment Saturday at Polk City Manor Care Center in Polk City.
Born in Carman, IL, she lived in the Des Moines area 72 years and was a member of Saylorville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Verna Pond of Des Moines and Hazel Wilke of Sacramento, CA; a son, Harold of Huxley; a brother, John Dowell of Des Moines; three sisters, Bertha Brewer of Des Moines, Lillian Dillon of Oquawka, IL, and Rena Kaletsch of Galesburg,IL; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials to Saylorville Baptist Church.
