The Life of BRIAN EUGENE SCHEEL
Brian Eugene Scheel, 47, of the 2800 block of Southeast 22nd Street, died of complications of asthma Friday at Broadlawns Medical Center. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at noon Friday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial of the cremains will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Scheel was born in Des Moines and had lived in California and Nevada states before returning here eight years ago. He was a retired office worker with Freightliner of Des Moines, an Air Force veteran and a member of Grandview Lutheran Church. He enjoyed music, swimming and disc golf.
He is survived by a daughter, Jenna Scheel of Sparks, Nev.; his mother, Berniece Scheel of Des Moiens; and a brother, Rick of Northville, MI.
Friends may call an hour prior to the time of services Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
