The Life of WALTER LEO REGNIER
Walter Leo Regnier, 71, of the 7700 block of Hickman Road, Urbandale, died of a kidney ailment and cancer Tuesday at Broadlawns Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Regnier was born in St. Louis and had lived in the Des Moines area 25 years. He worked for Hy-Vee and was a former chef with Drake University.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; a son, John of St. Louis; and two daughters, Michelle Kohing of St. Peters, MO, and Linda Eddleman of Highland, MO.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines.
