The Life of CLARENCE ARTHUR WING
Clarence A Wing, 75, of 3822 Columbia St., retired maintenance worker for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., died of a heart attack Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park Christian Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Wing was born in Hamilton County and lived in Des Moines for 45 years. He was a member of Highland Park Christian Church, Blue Lodge, Auburn Lodge 592 A.F. and A.M., Sons of Norway and United Rubber Workers.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; three daughters, Joyce Kinzel of River Falls, WI, Cheryle Gelner of Des Moines and Diane Mehling of Parker, CO; a brother, Harold of DeSoto, TX; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Merle Hay Funeral Home.
