The Life of ROY HOWARD COLL SR.
Roy H. Coll, Sr., 42, of 617 Grandview Ave. died of a stroke Thursday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Coll was born in Des Moines and had been a truck driver for Contract Transport Inc. He was a member of Union Park Masonic Lodge, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Des Moines Consistory, Teamsters Local and the Laboreres Union Local.
Among survivors are his wife, Terri; a son, Roy II, and two daughters, Countney Coll and Danielle Blackburn, all at home; his parents, Pete and Edith Coll of Des Moines; and two sisters, Irene Wachter and Sue Maxwell, both of Des Moines.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m.
