The Life of JUDITH MAE JOHNSON

Judith Mae Johnson, 74, of the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Parkway died of lung and brain cancer Wednesday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born in Story City and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a retired bookkeeper with Iowa Periodicals and a member of Prairie Meadows Gold Club. Surviving are a son, Robert of Des Moines; a borther, Leslie Vangness of Story City; a sister, Dorothy Couch of Des Moines; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House.
