The Life of RICHARD KNIGHT

Richard Knight, 75, of 3919 E 29th St., died of a respiratory ailment Saturday at Veterans Medical Center.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Knight was born in Iowa Falls and lived in Des Moines many years.  He was a retired sheet metal worker, an Army veteran of World War II and a memberof the Sheet Metal Workers Local.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine; two sons, Michael of Des Moines and John of Ankeny; seven daughters, Jean Knight and Judy Knight, both of Des Moines, Mary Hardie and Evelyn Drummondo, both of Knoxville, Rosanne McMains of Berwic, Catherine Bale of Derby, KS, and Linda Jennart of Bonaire,GA; a stepdaughter, Carol Richhart of Des Moines; a brother, Merle of Mesa, AZ; 17 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
