The Life of JOSEPH FRANKLIN MARSHALL

Joseph Franklin Marshall, 68, of 3906 SE 26th St. died of complications from multiple scherosis Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Marshall was born in Lincoln Center, KS, and had lived in Des Moines most of his life.  He retired in 1970 from Dealers Hobby Inc., and previously was a salesman for Anderson Erickson Dairy.  He was a member of V.F.W. Post 9127, D.A.V. and American Legion Baldwin Patterson Post, and he attended Fort Des Moines Open Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, two daughters, Nancy Ables of Des Moines and Mary J. Zajac of Lakewood, CO; a sister, Sallie Courter of Parsons, KS; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made tot he building fund at Fort Des Moines Open Bible Church.
