The Life of ALMA CAROLYN OLSON
Alma Carolyn Olson, 85, of 2824 E 16th St. died of a heart ailment Sunday at home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Central Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Olson was born near Huxley and had lived in Des Moines for several years. She was a retired teacher and a member of the Luther Park Auxiliary and the Sons of Norway.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Severson of Des Moines and Shirley Sealine of Rothschild, Wis.; a brother Henry Larson of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, the American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Central Iowa.
