The Life of DIANE BROBST
Diane Brobst, 65, died peacefully on August 19, 2004 at Mercy Hospice, Johnston, Iowa after a long journey with cancer. Services are 10 a.m. Monday, August 23, at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. The burial will be at the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Public visitation will be Sunday, August 22 with the family present from 3 to 6 p.m.
Diane was born February 23, 1939 in Des Moines. She loved family, friends, time at the lake, winters in Texas, and reading. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Brobst; daughters, Kim (Rick) Brobst-Hinkle of Johnston and Kathy (Marty) Gipple of Ankeny; and five grandchildren, Hillary, Nick, Katie, Josh and Justin.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Maxine Rodine and her brother, Linn Rodine.
Memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa or the American Cancer Society.
