The Life of ROBERT LAIRD BREWSTER
Services for Robert L. Brewster, 87, of 3815 Seventh St., will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dunn''s Funeral Home on Grand Avenue, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Brewster died Thursday at Veterans Hospital of a heart ailment after a six-month illness. He was born in Hastings, NB and lived in Des Moines 60 years.
A retired teacher, Mr. Brewster was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret L. Foss of Tallahassee, FL; a son, Herbert of Des Moines; a brother, Willis of Junction City, OR; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
