Services for Theodore S Heggen, Jr., 67, of 2702 Ashby Ave. will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery here.
Mr. Heggen drowned Monday in the Des Moines River near Johnston.
Mr. Heggen was born in Carlisle and live in Des Moines 45 years. He was a retired assistant purchasing agent for Iowa Power and Light Co., and was a member of the Acanthus Masonic Lodge, Balwin-Patterson Americna Legion Post and the Des Moines Pioneer Club.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta; two sons, Theodore, III, of Des Moines and James of Port Hueneme, CA; three sisters, Nellie Stewart of Des Moines, Mary Wallace of Salinas, CA and Ruth Jondreau of Burnsville, MN, and 11 grandchildren.
