The Life of ETHEL A NELSON
Services for Ethel A. Nelson, 97, of Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Ave., who died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Shelby County, Mrs. Nelson lived in Des Moines most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Indianola Heights Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Maurice of West Des Moines, Robert of Gardena, Calif., and Lorraine of Keokuk; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
