The Life of GORDON LEROY JONES
Gordon Leroy Jones, 49, of 1330 Richmond Ave., died of a heart ailment Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Hamilton''s Fuenral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was born in Des Moines and lived here all his life. He was a truck driver with H & W Motor express and a member of Teasters and The White House.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; two daughters, Teresa Jones and Amy Jones, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Cheryl Williams of Colfax and Chris Truitt of Des Moines; and five brothers, Art and Dale, both of Des Moines, Marvin of Indianola, James of Mount Vernon and Joe of New Virginia; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
