The Life of STANLEY C DAVIS
Stanley "Dozer" Davis, 45, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Kavanagh on 56th Street in Johnston. Stanley worked as a painter, and enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and cooking. He was a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his brothers, Norman II, Rodney Sr., and Robert Davis; half-siblings, Scott Russell, Lynette Eckman, and Lisa Hilsenbeck; many nieces and nepews; father, Norman Davis, Jr.; and step-father, Harry Peterson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Peterson; his favorite uncle, Chris Davis Sr.; and niece, Jacquelyn Holly.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturady, June 7, 2008 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2008 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of "Dozer."
