The Life of JOHN R QUINN
John R. Quinn, 66, of 602 SW Maple St., Ankeny, died of cancer Tuesay at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady''s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mr. Quinn was born in Colfax and moved to Ankeny from Colo 36 years ago. He was a farmer and truck driver and a member of the Teamsters.
Surviving are his wife, Marybelle; a daughter, Kathleen Quinn of Altoona; two sons, Don of Ankeny and Kelly of Altoona; a brother, James of Des Moines; and seven grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. Scripture Service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or Hospice Kavanagh House. Ankeny Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
