The Life of JOYCE MARIE BURCH DOW
Joyce Marie Dow, 45, of the 1900 block of Third Street Southwest, Altoona, died of breast and lung cancer Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Dow was born in Des Moines and had lived in Ankeny before moving to Altoona two months ago. She had worked for Happy Housekeepers and enjoyed boating and swimming.
She is survived by her husband, Brian; a daughter, Jacki Bosley, and a son, John Bosley, both of Slater; a stepson, Chris Dow of Phoenix; her parents, Elinor and Harry Burch of Ankeny; a sister, Barbara Lackershire of Springfield, MO; and two brothers, Dan Burch of Ankeny and Bill Burch of Johnston.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
