The Life of LENA FRIESZ
Services for Mrs. Lena Friesz, 74, of 3303 E Seventh St., who died of a stroke Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Friesz, who had been ill two weeks, was born in Pella. She came here 17 years ago from Salisbury, MO. She was a member of Union Park Methodist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Berneice and Elizabeth Friesz and Mrs. Alvina Retland of Des Moines and Mrs. Julia Criss of Denver, CO; two sons, Charles and Francis of Dallas Center; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Friesz of Independence, MO; and Mrs. Mabel Friesz of Salisbury; seven brothers, Frank, Raymond, Charles and Paul Voss of Oskaloosa, Leonard Voss of Pella, William Voss of Eddyville and Abraham Voss of Huntingdon, TN, and seven grandchildren.
