The Life of MARJORIE FAYE GODWIN

Marjorie Faye Godwin, 79, of 4275 NE 26th St. died of heart and kidney ailments Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Godwin was born in Baxter and lived in Des Moines most of her life.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include four sons, Dennis and John both of Des Moines, Donald of Ankeny, and James of Sheridan, AK; a daughter, Loretta McCabe of Ankeny; three brothers, Kenneth Vansice of Des Moines, Keith Vansice of Crosby, MN, and Donald Vansice of Collins; five sisters, Janice Funk and Betty Sirdoreus, both of Newton, Avis Trueper and Emily Carkuff, both of Burlington, and Ione Grant of Des Moines; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m.today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Renal Dialysis Unit of Iowa Methodist Meical Center.
