The Life of HILDUR EASTER
The Lord came and took Hildur Easter home on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Fleur Heights Care Center at the age of 93. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2005 at Highland Memory Gardens.
Hildur was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota on January 4, 1912 and lived most of her life in Des Moines. She retired from the Younkers Tea Room after 15 years of service. She loved gardening, flowers, and music.
Hildur will be geatly missed by her daughter, Norma Kooker of Des Moines; grandchildren, Julie (Todd) Mapes of Indianola, Janelle Richards, Jeff Kooker, and Jason Kooker, all of Des Moines; three great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Morine of Ankeny; sister, Dorothy Fletcher of Johnston; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo Easter.
Visitation will be held at Southtown Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
