The Life of EMIL P PEARSON

Services for Emil P. Pearson, 84, of 604 Guthrie Ave., who died Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center of a lung ailment, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.

Born in Sweden, Mr. Pearson moved to Des Moines in 1917.  He was a retired carpenter for C.A. Johnsona nd Sons and later operated his own shop.  He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 106, the Union Park Masonic Lodge; the Royal Arch Masons; the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, the York Rite and the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Survivors include his wife, Charolette; a son, Brenton of Anamosa; three daughters, Ann Evans and Lois Webb of Des Moines and Norma Tangeman of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Agnes Person of Sweden; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to The White House, 1400 Pennsylvania Ave., Des Moines 50313.
