The Life of CLARENCE EUGENE ANDERSON
Mr. Clarence "Andy" Anderson, 72, died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5 at Lutheran Church of Hope with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was retired as a truck driver with Super Valu Stores. After retirement, he worked as a driving instructor at DMACC and TMC. He served his country in the Army in Korea.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of West Des Moines; sons, Douglas of Des Moines and Craig of Flower Mound, TX; daughter, Laura Gardiner of West Des Moines; brothers, Harold of Waukee and Robert of Harrison, Arkansas; sister, Judith Raymond of Des Moines and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to Lutheran Church of Hope or the American Heart Association.
