The Life of RAYMOND R BOO

Raymond R. Boo 71, of 6750 Schools St. died of a heart attack Saturday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Mr. Boo, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was a retired Polk County court attendant and a navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; three daughters, Nancy Krammer of Jesup, Carole Boo of Des Moines and Patricia Romey of Granger, Ind; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Westover Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 9 p.m. and where a vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Dowling High School.
