The Life of DOROTHY M HENNESSEY
Dorothy M. Hennessey, 81, of Fountain West Health Care Center, 1501 Office Park Road, West Des Moines, died of a heart ailment Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hamitlon''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hennessey, a homemaker, was born in Jefferson and lived in the Des Moines area 50 years.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Whitecotton of West Des Moines; three brothers, Ray Shockey of Clinton, MO, and Don Shockey and Edward Shockey, both of Salt Lake City; three sisters, Irene Blair of Grinnell, Mildred Stangle of Lincoln, NE, and Katherine Hanover of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
