The Life of WINFRED ELWIN HARRIS
Fred E. Harris, 68, of 1338 E. 14th St. died of a heart attack Thursday at Veterans Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Harris was born in Arkansas and lived most of his life in Des Moines. He was an Army veteran and before retirement had worked in the warehouse at NAPA Auto Parts.
Survivors, all of Des Moines, include his wife, Kay; three stepsons, Shawn Thompson, Bobby Thompson and Pat Thompson; and a stepdaughter, Theresa Thompson.
