The Life of LEON L SPARGO
Leon L. Spargo, 74, died Thursday, January 15, 2004 of heart failure at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 19, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Leon was born in Greenville, PA and lived in California prior to moving to Des Moines. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He is survived by two sons, Leon and his wife, Valerie Pargo and Heinz Spargo, all of Des Moines; grandchildren, Bridgette, Denine, Amy, Jason, Christopher and Andrew; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins after 12 p.m. Monday, two hours prior to services. Memorials may be made to Kids with a Wish.
