The Life of FLORENCE C BECKETT
Services for Mrs. Florence Beckett, 80, of 1437 Lyon St., will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Beckett died of cancer Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She had been ill about a year.
A McGregor native, she lived in Dubuque about four years before moving to Des Moines in 1929.
She is survived by three sons, Eldon, Kenneth and Harold, all of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Irma Hindman of Earlham; a brother, Alfred Burghardt of Sumner; six sisters, Mrs. Ada Friedlein of McGregor, Mrs. Louise Marock, Mrs. Carrie Willie, Marie Burghardt and Mrs. Fanny Sitterly, all of Dubuque,and Mrs. Sara Strickler of Manchester, and 10 grandchildren.
