The Life of VINNIE SKINNER
Services for Mrs. Vinnie Skinner, 73, of 1335 Buchanan St., will be at Hamilton''s Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Skinner, a life long Des Moines resident, died at home early Tuesday of a heart ailment. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Daughters of Union Veterans.
She is survived by four sons, Robert E. of Colfax, John N. of Des Moines, W. Paul of Somers and Ira of Storm Lake; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy A. Yates and Mrs. Betty Keil of Des Moines, Mrs. Bonnie LaBarr of Marrowsburg, NY, Mrs. Ruth Wescott of Freeport, IL, and Mrs. Shirley Tester of Toledo, OH; two sisters, Mrs. Vada Pratt of Des Moines and Mrs. Hattie Collins of Whittier, CA; a brother, Rex Parmenter of Hollywood, CA; 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
