The Life of MARGARET J BROM
Margaret Brom, 83, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2004 at USA Health Care in Urbandale. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2004 at Westover Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Margaret was born in Waterloo and had lived in Des Moines since 1945. She was a payroll Clerk for the West Des Moines School District. She was a member of First Christian Church and member and past Worthy Matron of Waveland Park O.E.S. Margaret enjoyed crocheting and her dogs.
Margaret is survived by her stepson, Wayne Brom of Johnston; two grandchildren, Connie Woodward and Steve Brom; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Miller and Jacob T. Brom; her son, Kent Miller and granddaughter, Becky.
Visitation begins after 11 a.m. Sunday at Westover Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Hospice or her church.
